JADE is born of the arts, its raison d’être is to make the artisanal relevant.

Our collaboration with Astad Deboo arose because of a simple meeting of minds Astad’s awe-inspiring art in many ways echoes this very ethos of Jade’s philosophy.

Astad Deboo opened the show for Monica & Karishma's LFW W/F show '14

His dance is meditative which aids the holistic expression of these structures and our resulting collection.

Taking motivation from the classic arts and crafts of India, the creative forces, Monica and Karishma, believe in incorporating art within their process, to make the beautiful part of the mundane.

 This same belief has propelled them to seek creative collaborations with like-minded creators - the very first of which is with renowned Indian contemporary dancer Astad Deboo.
